Modelo de Couch Request

Faltam duas semanas para a minha próxima viagem internacional. Destino: diversas cidades na Espanha. Tenho, portanto, andado bem ocupada escrevendo Couch Requests. Não é como se você escrevesse para um hostel gratuito perguntando se existem vagas. Você está pedindo abrigo a um desconhecido. Você precisa convencê-lo de que valerá a pena hospedar você.

Isso exige um bom trabalho: procurar os perfis de couches disponíveis na cidade, ler para ver quais são parecidos com o seu (parecidos em valores, não necessariamente seu clone!), escrever mensagens personalizadas pra cada um e cruzar os dedinhos enquanto espera as respostas.

Já recebi uns pedidos bem ruins, de gente que obviamente só queria um teto gratuito. CS não é sobre dinheiro, é sobre troca.

Segue o primeiro pedido de couch que fiz, em minha viagem à Irlanda (2013). Ele foi aceito e foi publicado em um blog como "modelo de couch request" por um amigo da minha host (que acabou virando meu host também, pois dividi os cinco dias em dois blocos para não ficar muito tempo na casa de ninguém).

I'm new to CS - just participated in some local meetings (Campinas, SP - Brazil), but I'm excited to host and surf this year.

I liked your profile specially because of climbing (I've started to climb last year, but I'm still a newbie), folk music (I like celtic music a lot!) and travelling experience. I think we share some common interests and it would be great to meet you!

Is your place available between March 14 and March 19? I'll travel in Ireland before that, probably arriving in Dublin on March 14. My flight back to Brazil is scheduled to March 19. I know that 5 nights might be a little too long, but it would be great if you could host me for 2-3 days.

I know it's kind of early to ask for a couch, but I saw that most of hotels and hostels are already occupied, therefore I'm seeing the available options (I'd rather be hosted at a CSer place or hostel, because I'm travelling alone this time and it would be great to meet new people).
Although I'd like to meet new people and hang out with them, I'm very independent and I can explore the city by myself. So, you don't need to worry about spending your time with me when you have to work or when you have your agenda unavailable. I can leave the flat in the morning when you're gone and get to know the city - it would also be great to talk in the evening.

Well, this is my very first couch request, so I hope not to have forgotten anything.
